Facebook can be leveraged in so many ways for your business and Your Online Brand. One of those ways is a Facebook Page for your business. It will allow clients, customers, and supporters to become fans and follow your business updates. Below are instructions to create a Facebook Page (aka Fan Page):

1.Goto: http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

2. Choose the appropriate Page for your business

3. Check the “Do not make Page publicly visible at this time” box. Make your page public once all permissions are set up.

4. Here is the next screen after you click the “Create Page” button

5. Add Your Logo or Picture to Your Page

6. Click the “Edit Page” link. This will allow you to change the page settings

7. You can set a Vanity URL (business name)  once you have 100 Fans. i.e. http://www.facebook.com/TheGlobalParty. Vanity URL Link -> http://www.facebook.com/username. Click on Set a username for your Pages. Remember usernames are Case Sensitive, so type it out how you want it to appear in the browser. For example www.facebook.com/StrategicGeneration vs www.facebook.com/strategicgeneration.

8. Once your page is published. The last step is getting your friends to become Fans of your Page. First become a Fan of your own page. Then click the 'Suggest to Friends' link, which is located on your Wall underneath your picture.
